CARIMA Dental Model Resin (Gray / Beige)

High Precision | Easy 3D Printing

Product Description

CARIMA Dental Gray and Beige are resins with colors closely resembling dental plaster materials. Their low viscosity makes them easy to use, even for beginners.

These resins provide the high level of detail and precision required for printing dental models. They offer an attractive appearance, with both matte and glossy finishes depending on the viewing angle.

They also provide excellent repeatability and durability, making them optimized for dental model 3D printing.

01 — Storage and Disposal Guidelines

Storage Conditions

  • Store the resin container at room temperature with the lid tightly closed, in a dry environment.

  • After use, it is recommended to filter the remaining resin through a filter or sieve to remove residual printed particles before returning it to the resin bottle, rather than storing it in the equipment's resin tray.

  • Recommended usage period: Within 12 months from the date of purchase.

Disposal Guidelines

  • Dispose of or incinerate the resin according to local regulations.

  • Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for accurate disposal information.

02 — Packaging Information

  • Product: Dental Model Resin

  • Standard Packaging: 1 kg

  • Larger packaging sizes are available upon request.

03 — Recommended 3D Printing Parameters

Dental Model Resin can generally be printed with suitable parameters using 3D printers operating at 385 nm or 405 nm wavelengths.

04 — 3D Printing Process

Step 01 — Material Preparation

  • Prepare the resin at room temperature, avoiding excessively high or low temperatures.

  • Shake the resin thoroughly before use to prevent sedimentation.

  • Pour the resin slowly in several stages to avoid introducing air bubbles.

  • If bubbles appear, remove them completely before starting the printing process.

Step 02 — Printing

  • Use the appropriate printing settings for the resin.

  • Print using the configured equipment parameters.

  • Avoid applying external impact or vibration to the printer during operation.

06 — Cleaning and Post-Curing Process

1. Cleaning Process

Step 01 — Initial Cleaning

  • Place the printed model into an ultrasonic cleaner containing the cleaning solution or IPA (isopropyl alcohol) currently in use.

  • Do not soak for too long.

  • Run the ultrasonic cleaner for 3 minutes.

  • Remove the model, place it in fresh cleaning solution or IPA, and clean again for another 3 minutes.

Step 02 — Rinsing

- Remove the printed model and lightly rinse it with cleaning solution.

Step 03 — Post-Curing and Drying

  • Post-cure the model using the CL300Pro curing unit for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

  • After curing, either:

    • Allow the model to dry at room temperature for at least 24 hours, or

    • Dry it in an oven at 60°C for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Caution: Slight yellowing may occur as the post-curing time increases.

Additional Notes:

  • The CL300Pro may have variations in light intensity between units, even at Lv12. Adjust the recommended curing time appropriately.

  • Since the bottom surface may not be fully cured, it is recommended to rotate the model and cure multiple surfaces separately.

3. Finishing Process

  • Carefully remove the support structures after post-curing.

  • If necessary, polish or sand the surface to achieve a smoother finish.

Important: These procedures are general guidelines only. Actual printing and curing conditions may vary depending on the printer and the shape of the printed model.

Curing times may differ according to model size and structure, and printing parameters may require adjustment when using a different 3D printer.
